• Robert Poch, the writer from Šumperk, is introduced as follows by novinky.cz: "Šumperk writer Robert Poch entered the world of literature in 2002 with his poetry collection Platinové barvy." 
  
• Subsequently, he published the following books: Mrtví se přicházejí někdy rozloučit (2007), Špinavá holka (2007), Ka-zajit (2015), Qinrai (2017), Stíny jeviště (2018), Alláhovy děti (2019), Nyx (2020), Qinrai: Příběh kouzelnice (2020), and the essay Proč nejsem muslimem (2022).
• His short story, Lidojedi, won first place in the international literary competition for Science Fiction Short Story of the Year in 2010.
• He irregularly contributed short literary pieces to the Šumperk and Jeseník Daily, and he currently contributes to the independent horror magazine, Howard.
